#leadershiplessons #personalreflection #motivation #resilience #purposefulleadership Make it count!! Do the work intentionally and on purpose! Don’t be afraid to address the challenges head on and walk in your authentic, true and genuine path.

You will always rise above the challenges, gaslighting, projecting, and obstacles that attempt to get you off course…remember it’s not personal, it really is about the leadership assignment…it’s bigger than you. Resilience, courage, strength, knowledge, determination, faith and dedication will be your foundation to guide your called journey. You will be empowered, equipped and energized to do the work to complete the assignment. The good news is when you are truly “called” to lead in any capacity whether it is in a workplace, civic organization, ministry, you will always understand the assignment and why you are called. That’s when the true work begins…buckle up and get ready!! Unfortunately, this is compounded when you lead, think or look differently than others in the organization. This is especially true when you are charged with leading an established team regardless if it is a well oiled machine or a broken and dysfunctional mess with age old or newly created issues. Leaders are often expected to be super heroes, magicians and miracle workers and when the imaginary super powers or magic wand doesn’t work that’s when the criticism, misguided judgment and misinformation begins. Leadership can be hard, difficult and sometimes lonely, but extremely rewarding. My leadership reflection…note to self and sharing to hopefully help others.
